The short answer is YES. We will not reject any tenant because they wish to use Housing Benefit or similar to pay their rent.
All our tenants must meet the following criteria whether they are using Housing Benefit or not:
- Pass a credit check, or have a guarantor who will.
- Provide evidence of income, or have a guarantor who will, which supports the rent.
- Provide a reference from current landlord.
- Pass Right to Rent checks.
Please be aware that we often have multiple applicants for a property, and it will be at the landlords’ discretion which tenant to move forward with.
